Award criteria also include (see the application for more details): - A vendor may only apply in collaboration with a HIMSS South Florida provider where they have implemented a solution in partnership with that organization
- There must be a direct correlation between the IT initiative and the accomplishment of a documented organizational objective.
- Achieved benefits from the initiative must be quantifiable
- The concept must be transportable and have an application to other healthcare organizations
- The accomplishment must have written acknowledgment from the organization or departments Senior Executive or equivalent
- The IT initiative must have a minimum of 6 months of proven results
