The South Florida Chapter of HIMSS is pleased to announce a new scholarship for a student of healthcare information and management systems field. Established and funded by the South Florida HIMSS Chapter, this scholarship is awarded to a HIMSS student member who exhibits academic excellence and future leadership potential in the healthcare information and management systems industry.  Student members of the South Florida Chapter are all encouraged to apply for the scholarship.  The amount of the scholarship is $5,000 and is given annually. In addition to the $5,000 scholarship award, the winner will also receive an all-expense paid trip to the Awards Gala at the Annual HIMSS Conference and Exhibition. Some restrictions may apply.
