NOW ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS

Once again, South Florida HIMSS is launching a competition among providers that recognizes healthcare technology innovation in South Florida. The South Florida HIMSS Healthcare Technology Innovation Award looks at the direct correlation between an organization’s IT initiative (one specific IT initiative) and accomplishment of a documented organizational objective.

Award criteria also includes:

• Achieved benefits from the initiative must be quantifiable
• Concept must be transportable and have application to other healthcare organizations
• Must have written acknowledgment from the organizations or departments Senior Executive or equivalent
• IT initiative must have a minimum of 6 months of proven results

A vendor may only apply in collaboration with a HIMSS South Florida provider where they have implemented a solution in partnership with that organization

Vendor only abstracts will NOT be accepted

The deadline for submissions is September 10, 2021

The winning organization will receive a trophy, bragging rights, one complimentary ticket to HIMSS 2022, and community recognition including: Innovation and the organization marketed to the HIMSS membership, an ad for the winner, webinar session to our membership highlighting the winning organization, and partner in conjunction with South Florida Business Journal

Final presentations will take place mid-October, 2021 in a virtual SFLHIMSS event.
